The Sports Group was established in 2002. The main focus of the business is in India, but we do use a United Kingdom office to service some of our overseas clients in the Sports sector.

The Sports Group (TSG) www.TheSportsGroup.In was launched in 2002 in London, with the first project being the World Cricket Academy (WCA - www.worldcricketacademy.com), with the purpose of being an independent international programme welcoming all types of cricketers from professionals to amateurs wanting to experience cricket development in a new culture and environment at some of the best grounds and facilities in the world.

In 2008 the Institute of Sport (IOS - www.InstituteOfSport.Org) was launched in India, this was part of a ten year plan to set up an independent Sports School in the country which would also provide Education on site. The land for this project has already been purchased and the work has begun with a completion target date of the first quarter of 2011.

The Institute Of Sport (IOS) has two arms, an institutional and a individual service arm, with a number of independent businesses with their own delivery mechanisms, which include Families In Training (FIT - www.FamiliesInTraining.In) which operates as an independent Fitness franchise, as well as various other sports like www.InternationalFootballAcademy.In and www.WorldSquashAcademy.Com and of course servicing the biggest growing sport in India "cricket" with the www.WorldCricketAcademy.Com. The Sports Group also set up www.ZOLT.In a sports products business which relies on the research coming in from the various sports and fitness businesses to develop its own Intellectual Property and create new products for sportsmen and women across the country.

The Sports Group also launched www.ThePlayersGroup.Org in 2009 which was set up to provide scholarships to aspiring sportsmen and women around the world. This scholarship we believe would enable the family and the individual sportsman or women to stay focused on developing his or her skill without the day to day worry about commercial remuneration. Emerging Players has signed over a hundred youngsters on its books, and manages their careers from a very early stage and guide them through the various bumps in their career to success at the highest levels of their sport.
